Bought this rifle from Midway and after cycling the bolt a few times the trigger stuck! Not good for a brand new gun. Cycle it again and sometimes it works and sometimes it sticks again. Midway who I thought would stand behind their products said not our problem, call savage. This is not what I expected from Midway. Savage tells me to take apart the gun and mess with the trigger weight. In other words we don’t do any quality control on new guns so why don’t you try to fix it. Also, the bolt head on the rifle was super dirty, not bright and shiny like most new rifles.
Rifle looks really cool and I am sure would be great if it worked. The bolt is not as smooth as the regular 110 we have which was another issue.
Overall, a real disappointment to buy a new gun for my kids only to never get a chance to shoot it before it had issues. Hopefully it doesn’t become an expensive paper weight because Midway and Savage don’t stand behind their products. After doing some research online I found other p…

for my first cva bought sight unseen i love it i would prefer a little longer barrel and the threaded barrel does nothing for me just saying it looks good feels good very well made seems to be accurate as i need to test some distance on it yet as i am in il. with the new deer hunting laws i don’t have a report yet but if my 450 take over deer season me and my 350 are still going to have a lot of fun i would say great gun and if you don’t like the big kick of the 450 as i have read i think this will be great i will have to pry myself away from the 450 to see what i can do with it as for the cva overall get it in what ever cal. you want

The gun shoots fine, but the integrated sight is significantly off, causing the gun to shoot left. Sig said “the gun is only designed to shoot 10 feet”. Sorry, that’s not good enough to me.

I love my J frames.this is a great shooting experience all around.smooth trigger pull, not to stiff for a rim fire.the solid stainless steel frame is heavier than the alloys and is easy to keep on target with single or double action .fires whatever you run thru it.this is the same revolver as my model 60 but in.22. sights were right on out of the box and the front sight is easy to see on any background.the factory grips are good for my small hands and it feels very well balanced .
